Quilted Maxi Skirt (1970s)
Full-length vintage skirt from the seventies made of quilted fabric with the sheen of satin. Paisley medallions and striping are printed in beautiful bright colors: almost-hot-pinks, oranges, and baby blues. Heavy gold metal buttons close the front and the waist; button thread is bright pink and button-holes are finished with orange. The lining (back face of quilting) is a soft pinkish red.
MEASUREMENTS:
Waist, across: 15.5”
Hip, across: 23.5”
Bottom hem, across: 26”
Total length: 39”
CONDITION: very good, a small area (about the size of a golf ball) has some natural fading; buttons, quilting, and stitching are all in excellent shape.
NEED TO KNOW:
100% acetate facing and lining; 100% batting. (Warm fabric! Good for cooler weather!)
Label recommends dry cleaning.
