Terrycloth Shorts with Buckle (1970s)
Highwaisted, form-fitting trouser shorts in red and black terrycloth woven with a very seventies geometric diamond pattern. The fabric is soft and a little bit stretchy — just the amount of flex needed to comfortably wear short-shorts and do regular life at the same time.
Exposed front pockets function as belt loops for a matching decorative belt and lightweight gold metal buckle. (The belt is visible only from the front and is not removable, but does slide in/out of the belt loops and can be unbuckled.) The center-back closes with a solid metal zipper and hook-and-eye.
