Tecnica Après Ski Fur Boots (1990s)
Beautiful vintage “after” ski boots from Italian sportswear brand Tecnica. Tecnica began manufacturing this style of boot in the 1970s (obviously “inspired” by Native American designs), alongside the original Moon Boots. This pair is made of gleaming black goat fur and soft chestnut leather, decorated with colorful embroidery and leather accents.
In their original box with Tecnica pamphlet from 1992, tagged $359, from Vail Boot & Shoe in Colorado. Inside the boots is the original tissue paper and cardboard inserts for the shafts. A rare find.
